General Tire 4x4 trip in Transylvania, Romania

..."Keep in mind that the General Tire will be 100 years old this year, we would like to organise a partner event "for celebration together". The basic idea was that the retailers could have some fun together and be able to test our tyres. That's why we decided on a 4x4 trip in Transylvania, Romania.

Our trip started in a small village in the heart of the mountains in Torockó (Rimetea). The accomodation was in a renewed old country house by the feet of the mountain called "Székelykő" (Piatra Secuiului), where the hospitality of the owners of Hungarian nationality made our stay more above all expectations. At the day before the arrival the snow started to fall, so we started our way in 20 cm deep snow. The cars were professional Toyota off road cars, four of them equipped with General Tire MT and one is with AT tyres. At the first day we get the direction to the hills in a small creek. The tires performed very well in the deep snow and in muddy terrain. In the evening our partners could get all the information about the General Tires trough an interesting presentation.

At the second day we visited the ruins of and old castle covered by snow and a beautiful mountain highhill road with a glamorous view. We had no problems with the tyres, we got over every obstacle what came into our way. We closed the day with a fantastic dinner by the accompaniment of the Hungarian national short drink, the "pálinka". 

With the help of the professional General Tire 4x4 tyres we had very exciting two days, while we could get everywhere where we wanted to, and we always felt ourselves the safest."
